Burgtheater PROMPT

Starting with season 2019/20 the Burgtheater has a new service for our hard of hearing visitors and for international guests. Our BURGTHEATER PROMPT app provides surtitles in multiple languages that can be read during the performance. Just install the app on your smartphone.

How it works:

Once you have taken your seat in the auditorium, open the BURGTHEATER prompt app, which will guide you through the following steps: Set your phone to airplane mode and activate the Wi-Fi button.
BURGTHEATER prompt will automatically connect to our app network: LIBRBURG. If your
smartphone does not support automatic Wi-Fi connections, please manually select the LIBRBURG network in your settings. Then all you need to do is choose a language for the surtitles, and voilà!
